COURSE CONTENT
Q: Who is the Certified Internal Equipment Evaluator Training Course for?
A: All equipment manufacturers and brokers that design, build and market production equipment to be used in the manufacture of bakery products.
Q: Are there any prerequisites?
A: Prior knowledge necessary for completing this training is an engineering background, the ability to design or install bakery equipment, and a basic knowledge of the baking process.
Q: How long does each module take to complete?
A: You can expect to devote about 1.5 hours to fully study each module before the exam.
COURSE ACCESS
Q: How will I access the course?
A: Once course registration and payment are completed, you will receive an email containing course credentials within 24 business hours with links to access the course.
Q: How long will I have to access and complete the course?
A: Access to the downloadable content will expire 2 months from when you were granted access. You will need to have completed all 4 modules and successfully passed the final exam with at least 80% to be certified.

Q: Are there quizzes for each Module?
A: There are several knowledge checks throughout the modules that must be completed in order to proceed to the next module.
Q: What is the passing grade for the final exam?
A: To obtain your certification, you must complete all the knowledge checks and achieve 80% or higher on the final exam.
Q: What is the deadline for the final exam?
A: Since the course is self-paced and was built to be flexible and support busy schedules, you can take the modules at your own pace. The final exam must be completed within 2 months of course purchase.
Q. Do I need to complete each module before I move on to the next?
A. Yes, you are required to take and complete the modules in order, completing the knowledge checks before moving to the next module. You can revisit the completed modules at any time.
Q. What is the format of the final exam? What is the average time most people take to complete the exam?

You have a time limit of 2 hours
You must complete the final exam in one sitting, you will not have an option to save and finish later
It will not let you finish with any questions left unanswered
You must achieve a score of 80% or higher to pass
The actual time taken to complete the exam varies from student to student, many students do not need the full 2 hours if they have studied adequately.
Q. What happens if I do not pass the exam? A. You will have 3 attempts to complete the final exam. Each attempt will produce a randomized selection of questions. If you do not get at least 80% by the third attempt, we will be happy to work with you on the next steps needed to become certified.
CERTIFICATION PERIOD + RECERTIFICATION
Q: How long does the certification remain valid?
A: Upon successfully completing the Certified Internal Equipment Evaluator Training Course and passing the final exam, you will remain certified for 2 years. Once the 2 years are up, you will be able to apply for recertification by completing and passing a recertification exam.
